Sudden urge this morning to shave my entire body.I know the beard and unkempt hair are some kind of, buffer? And maybe I don't want that anymore.
Or maybe, gasp, I'm overthinking it.
I would prefer an amicable resolution. But I am well stocked in razors electric, safety and straight. I don't fear nicks and scratches. My hands are steady.
They should. My customers in Jakarta would pay a premium for these wavy locks. Whenever I visit the spice market I am followed by hordes of smooth faced supplicants, eyes gleaming hungry for just a strand, hands outstretched to receive my scruffy blessing.
I've done it before on a whim. It was fun. I remember being able to feel heat from store lights meters away, it was like gaining a superpower. A useless and mediocre one, but still.
